November brought so many highlights: Mr. Muhammad was dunked for meeting our INVE$T fundraising goal, Movie Night, Friday Clubs kickoff, and '50s Day!

’Tis the Season for Giving

The PTA is once again collecting contributions for SGE holiday gifts. All funds received will be shared evenly among every SGE teacher and staff member. Each gift will include a card signed, “Happy Holidays! Love, the SGE families.” Because this is a collective gift from our entire Shamrock community, individual contributor names will not be listed.

To participate, please send your contribution using any of the options below. The form will be open from November 20th through December 12th.

How to Contribute:

  1. Online: Submit your gift through the PTA’s secure Holiday Giving form at shamrockpta.org/holiday.
  2. Cash or Check: Drop off contributions in the PTA mailbox at the school. (The front desk can guide you.) Be sure to note “Holiday Gifts” in the memo.

Thank you for helping us show appreciation to our incredible SGE team. Families are always welcome to also send personal gifts, notes, or homemade cards if they wish.

Book Fair is Back!

Support SGE and discover your next great read at our in-person Book Fair, presented by All Kids Pediatric Dentistry. The fair will run December 5th–12th, with regular shopping hours from 7:30–8:00 a.m. and 3:00–3:30 p.m. each day.

Plus, on Thursday, December 11th, the Book Fair will be open for special extended hours from 5:00–6:00 p.m., perfect for shopping before the Winter Concert!

We are looking for volunteers to help bring the Book Fair to life.

We need volunteers to help scholars purchase books and other items. If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d love to have you!

Join us on Monday, December 1st from 5–8 PM at Pure Pizza (2838 The Plaza) for a delicious way to support SGE! 

Mention SGE when you order, and Pure Pizza will donate 10% of all sales—dine-in or take-out—back to our school. 💚

First Friday | December 5

Donate to Dress Down

This happens on the first Friday of each month! On these days, no uniforms are required. A suggested donation of $2.00 (any amount is appreciated and accepted) can be made by sending in cash or a check with your scholar, or online.

Coffee with the Principal

All families are invited! Join Principal Legra and the PTA at 8:15am on the first Friday of each month. She’ll share updates from the state, district, and school, and there’s always time for your questions.

K-2 Winter Concert | December 11

Our K–2 Winter Concert is coming up on December 11 at 6pm! Join us for a festive celebration of music and holiday cheer as our youngest scholars take the stage. 🎶

Eat Lunch with your Scholar

Registered CMS volunteers can have lunch with their scholars in the cafeteria. Make sure you know your scholar's lunchtime, and sign in at the front office. If you want to buy lunch, you can use the balance on your scholar's PayPAM account or bring cash. Remember to say goodbye in the cafeteria and let your scholar walk to their classroom with their teacher to help keep that school-day flow going!

Spirit Wear Update!

We’ve switched things up for spirit wear — instead of an on-demand shop, we’re now doing pre-order sales!

Our newest batch is open October 29–November 24, featuring dri-fit tees, tie-dye, sweatshirts, and more decked out with our Shamrock Gardens logo. All orders will be delivered before Christmas, just in time for holiday gifting!

New this year: You can also choose to donate a spirit wear item to a Shamrock student!
