| Staff Appreciation Week We will be showering our amazing teachers and staff with appreciation and free food ALL week, May 5th to 9th! Get ready to experience Camp Shamrock like never before! We need your help to ensure our amazing team can enjoy the week while we show them just how much they mean to us! Here are some ways you can help support Staff Appreciation Week: - Teacher Raffle Donations - We're looking for donations from local businesses--anything from gift cards to special treats. If you're part of a local business and would like to contribute something, please email Bree Jonmaire. These items will make our raffle extra special!
- Help Decorate Camp Shamrock - Every great camp needs to look the part! We need volunteers to help decorate the school in true camp style--think rustic signs, campfire vibes, campers, and plenty of fun! If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and create a camp wonderland, please sign up to volunteer!
- Car Line and Lunch Coverage - One of the best and easiest ways you can help is by covering a car line or lunch shift so that our teachers and staff can enjoy a relaxing catered breakfast and lunch. Sign up to volunteer here (everyone can help, not just dads)!
- Notes and Awards from Scholars - Our scholars are the heart of the school, and we want them to be part of the fun, too! We'd love to gather notes and awards from our scholars to give to teachers/staff. More information will be sent in next week's Thursday Folders and via ParentSquare on May 1st.
Your support will help us make this Staff Appreciation Week unforgettable. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community and for helping us honor our dedicated team! |

| SGE Planting Day Join us on Saturday, May 31st, at 8:00am, to help complete the final touches on SGE’s Edible Walkway at the intersection of Anne Street and Country Club Drive. This special planting day is more than just getting our hands in the soil—it’s a heartfelt tribute to Principal Potter and Ms. Tillman for their many years of service. We’ll be dedicating the walkway to Principal Potter and a bench along the path to Ms. Tillman. Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary. The more hands we have, the quicker we'll finish (likely by 10:00-10:30am). Sign up to volunteer here, and join us for a morning of community, gratitude, and growth! |

(in case you missed it) - Visitor check-in: All visitors on campus (including after-school activity participants/volunteers, third party workers, etc.) must sign in through the visitor check-in system, LobbyGuard, to be accounted for. This is a CMS security requirement. Visitors can save time by becoming a CMS volunteer in advance. Driver's licenses are required for adults.
Lucky Charm Staff Spotlights: We have so many wonderful staff members at Shamrock! Each month, Principal Potter recognizes a few that go above and beyond their normal duties. Learn more about these amazing staff members here. The SGE uniform closet accepts donations any time of any uniform sizes, and is accessible to staff as they support our SGE scholars and community every day. Think: spills, accidents, etc.! There are opportunities to shop the uniform closet at events throughout the year. Our amazing SGE guidance counselors and support staff can help with specific uniform needs. We still need a few PTA board and committee members for the 2025-26 school year! Fill out this form if something piques your interest and reach out to Wes Turner (336-830-2105) or Chelsea Lawrence with any questions. We hope you consider giving your time and joining us! It takes a village of volunteer support to run all of the PTA events and activities that keep our Shamrock community thriving. - Support SGE every day! Buy spirit wear, rent the rock, and earn while you shop.
